Who Voices Lucia in GTA 6?
The GTA 6 Lucia voice actress is Manni L. Perez, who has confirmed that she voices Lucia Caminos in Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI.
For years, GTA 6 fans have debated the identity of Lucia’s actress. Manni L. Perez was one of the most widely discussed names in the community, but the claim remained unconfirmed for a long time. That changed in August 2026 when Perez publicly confirmed her involvement with GTA VI.
The confirmation comes shortly after Rockstar released its latest extended gameplay footage, giving fans a much closer look at Lucia, Jason and the world of Leonida.
Manni L. Perez Confirmed as Lucia’s Voice Actress
Manni L. Perez confirmed her role through social media following the release of the new GTA VI gameplay footage.
In her post, Perez directly asked fans whether they recognized Lucia’s voice and confirmed that the voice belongs to her. This finally puts an end to one of the biggest GTA 6 casting mysteries.
Before the confirmation, Perez had already been strongly connected to Lucia by fans because of her appearance, voice and previous work connected to Rockstar.
Her IMDb credits also connect her to the new GTA VI extended look, while her acting background includes appearances in shows such as Blindspot, Jessica Jones and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Why Fans Thought Manni L. Perez Was Lucia
The theory surrounding Perez did not appear out of nowhere.
GTA 6 fans had been comparing Lucia’s voice and appearance with Perez for years. Her previous connection to Rockstar also made the theory more convincing.
Perez reportedly worked on GTA Online, including a role associated with the Diamond Casino & Resort update. That connection gave fans another reason to investigate her potential involvement in GTA 6.
However, it is important to remember that these clues were not official confirmation at the time.
The situation changed only when Perez herself confirmed that she voices Lucia.
The Main Clues Fans Found
- Her voice appeared similar to Lucia’s.
- Her appearance closely resembled the character.
- She had previous Rockstar-related voice work.
- Fans noticed her connection to motion capture.
- Her social media activity generated additional speculation.
- GTA 6 communities repeatedly identified her as the leading candidate.
What was once speculation can now be treated as confirmed regarding her role as Lucia’s voice actress.
Who Is Lucia Caminos in GTA 6?
Lucia Caminos is one of the two central protagonists in GTA 6, alongside Jason Duval.
Rockstar has positioned Lucia and Jason at the center of the game’s story. Their relationship is expected to play a major role as they become involved in a dangerous criminal situation across Leonida.
The latest gameplay footage provides a much better look at Lucia’s personality.
She appears confident, aggressive and willing to take risks, while Jason is portrayed as the more reserved member of the duo.
Their dynamic has frequently been compared to the classic Bonnie and Clyde-style partnership, although GTA 6 is creating its own story around the two characters.
Lucia’s Role in the GTA 6 Story
Lucia is not simply a supporting character.
She is one of GTA 6’s two playable protagonists, meaning players will experience a significant portion of the story through her perspective.
Rockstar’s gameplay footage shows Lucia involved in criminal activities, driving, combat and interactions with Jason.
The character also has a backstory involving the Leonida Penitentiary. Her experiences before meeting Jason are expected to influence the story as the pair attempt to survive the criminal world of Leonida.
This makes Perez’s performance especially important because Lucia is likely to become one of the most recognizable protagonists in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
What Does Manni L. Perez Bring to Lucia?
One of the most interesting aspects of GTA 6 is how Rockstar builds its characters around performance.
Lucia’s personality is communicated through her dialogue, facial expressions, body language and interactions with Jason.
Perez’s confirmation therefore gives fans a better understanding of who is behind Lucia’s performance.
The actress has experience in both traditional acting and performance-related work, which makes her involvement particularly relevant for a game as technically ambitious as GTA 6.
However, fans should avoid assuming details about the exact amount of motion capture or performance capture Perez completed unless Rockstar or Perez specifically confirms them.
Rockstar Still Keeps Much of the Cast Secret
Although Perez has now confirmed her role, Rockstar has historically been very secretive about its game casts.
This is why the GTA 6 voice actor mystery lasted for so long.
Before Perez’s confirmation, several gaming publications continued to describe her as the leading candidate rather than a confirmed cast member. Older reports correctly emphasized that Rockstar had not officially published a complete GTA 6 cast list.
That distinction is important when discussing other rumored GTA 6 actors.
The confirmation of one performer does not automatically confirm every other casting theory circulating online.
What About Jason’s Voice Actor?
Lucia’s voice is now confirmed through Perez’s own statement, but the situation surrounding Jason Duval’s voice actor is different.
Several names have been connected to Jason by fans and gaming publications, but those claims should not automatically be treated as confirmed.
Until the actor or Rockstar provides reliable confirmation, Jason’s casting remains a separate question.
This is an important distinction for GTA 6 fans because the internet is currently full of casting rumors.
When Does GTA 6 Release?
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
That means the wait for Rockstar’s next Grand Theft Auto game is entering its final stage.
The latest GTA 6 gameplay footage has given fans a much closer look at Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval.
